PLEASE EXPLAIN is based on the true story of right wing politician Pauline Hanson and the affect of her divisive policies on Australia.  The story also explores Hanson’s relationship with the media and journalists including the highly regarded left wing journalist Margo Kingston and the incumbent government led by John Howard and his right hand Tony Abbott.

As one of the first women to challenge the male dominated world of politics, Pauline was both celebrated and ridiculed.  She encountered constant personal attacks, not only for her political views but for the outfits she wore and way she behaved.   She was the underdog, a fish out of water struggling to survive in a male dominated world of political spin.

PLEASE EXPLAIN is a behind the scenes look at one of the most controversial and divisive politicians, the men who tried to undermine her, including Tony Abbott, Australia’s current Prime Minister, and the Margo Kingston, the smart journalist who just wanted her to reconsider her position.
